Dusty Boot days give you a REAL insight into what it's like to be a developer - a chance to visit a 'live' site, see trades in action and to talk to all those involved in the project. From identifying the plot, acquiring the site, through to getting planning and raising the finance, it's all covered with speakers on the day from every sector. There's also a Q&A session over a light lunch, so you can ask specific questions about your aspirations and goals.
